The Clearway story…
2016 saw the introduction of a Clearway’s mobile CCTV unit, a vehicle packed with the latest tech in CCTV and remote monitoring, ideal for commercial, industrial, retail or residential sites.
Tendering for and winning the coveted Metropolitan Police security and environmental services 5 year contract for the second time came in 2013 and was followed by the now-reinvented Clearway Solo Alarm gaining prestigious SSAIB accreditation and subsequent insurance company approval.
In 2011 Clearway launched InView CCTV, an exciting development in CCTV that provides unique and bespoke solutions for remote monitoring and digital recording in hostile and power-free environments.
Innovation continued through 2010 with the design and development of the Clearway Keyless Toreadoor. Acclaimed for setting the benchmark in steel property security doors, the Clearway Keyless Toreadoor was the first steel door of its kind to meet the LPS1175 standard and therefore be approved by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB).
In addition, the The Clearway Keyless Toreadoor has received the acclaimed Secured by Design accreditation; a UK Police preferred specification which supports the principles of ‘designing out crime’ in order to reduce the risk of crime through design excellence.
Gideon Israel, founder of Multi Secure Ltd. and Safe Estates Services Ltd. was appointed Clearway’s Chairman in 2009 bringing many years of valuable experience and commercial insight to the board.
Also in 2009, Clearway tendered for, and won, the 5 year contract to provide the Metropolitan Police with crime scene and trauma clean-up services throughout London
With his vast experience and property security knowledge, Leigh Hooper joined Clearway in 2007. The company’s Northern division opened in 2008 with an office in Sheffield to widen our coverage to the north.
In 2004 Jon Harwood joined the company to head the new security division. The Clearway Solo Alarm was developed; a unique battery-powered intruder detection system used to protect vacant properties.
By 2000, through its many contracts with Local Authorities, housing associations and large hotel groups, Clearway had proved its ability to provide a quality of service above and beyond the call of duty.
Founded in 1992, Clearway began providing property clearance and extreme cleaning services across London and the home counties.
